Saturday was pretty chill (mostly from the rum from Friday night!). Lots of running around and getting ready for the festivites! By Sunday, some of my housemates had arrived early and ready for the Pirate party at Capt Tony's. I don't think any of us were prepared for such a crazy party so early on! Damn!! The place was packed and even spilled out on to the street. The cops showed up to keep people on the sidewalk.. something you don't see till later on in the week! Pirates Punch was flowing and the cameras were flashing! Quite the fun night!
Monday was Kelly's Kinky Karnival and lived up to its reputation once again. As we were waiting in line to get in, some guys actually thought t-shirts were going to get them in! No no no... Kelly's is very strict about their fetish attire requirement! Lots of leather, vinyle, lace and string... haha.
Tuesday I got to get painted by the fabulous Pashur (check out the slideshow below!). Hes simply amazing!!! And let me tell ya.. theres something quite exhilerating about walking down Duval with nothing on but some paint! We got the house into the mood.. even the guys dressed up as school girls for plaid night! Us girls were bitching cause they kept hogging up the bathroom, using our makeup .. augh..
On to Wednesday night.. Red, red, red!! The rain put a damper on things and I haver to say I was a bit wiped out. I hosted my toy party earlier in the day (yes, was quite the event!!!) and didnt get a heck of a lot of sleep the night before, or the night before.. or.. well, you get the point! Still was a lot of people out and about on Duval! |

Thursday... well.. lets just say that if you wear shear, white lingerie as a toga and it rains, you may as well be naked! hehe!! Great night again and even landed up down the street hopping around a few bars!
Friday was our Freaky Party at Salsa Loca's! We had the best turn out yet and the food was amazing (thanks Nancy!!!!). It only rained a little bit, but our dj Barron was well protected this year thanks to Efrain! The tunes were loud and fun! The contests were quite the hit... what was that about going down on a banana!?? ** grin ** And of course, the after hours parties were something else! At one point I realized I had on a vinyl mini skirt and a bra... oh ya, and a lot of glitter! hahaha.. Got to love Key West!

Saturday started off quite early as we were decorting our float and getting ready for the parade. Alright, so I should have been a bit earlier but someone didnt get a hell of a lot of sleep that night! Our float was a ton better this year thanks to my kick ass roomies Marc and Tim! They built this cool stage complete with a stripper pole that attached to Marc's big ass truck! Besides the fact that it was something like 80% humid and we were all drenched in sweat, it was a great parade! My buddy Jack and I carried the Krewe de Krazy Life banner down duval in front of the float! What a blast!! We all met at the Meteror after for some dinner and goodbyes as most of the Krewe headed out on Sunday. Great food and loving the air condition! Jack announced the scavenger hunt winners which just happened to be my roomie girls and I! Oh ya!
For the third year in a row, those of us still in town on Sunday night met at Sloppy Joes. They have a great band that plays and lots of dancing! Jack and I had to head out early but we still had a great time and got to say goodbye to the Krewe.
So all in all it was one hell of a year. We're already discussing '09!! I had the best roommates this year! I was completely pampered and enjoyed the eye candy! hehehe...
We also made some great friends at Hamburger Mary's in Orlando the week before Fantasy Fest! Keep your eyes peeled on that as we're discussing doing some toy parties with them! Yeah!!!
